Q: What is your policy for travel during Hurricanes?
A: In the event that a hurricane or tropical storm warning is issued by the National Hurricane Center or a state of emergency is declared for the Orlando area or in your place of residence, within seven days of your arrival, you can contact our team in advance to reschedule or cancel your Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations Package, hotel room only accommodations and Universal Orlando theme park tickets booked directly with Universal Orlando, without any cancellation or change fees imposed.
If you have purchased airline tickets as part of your Universal Parks and Resorts Vacations package, you may still be subject to cancellation and change fees assessed by those airlines.
Guests calling to cancel or modify bookings must be 18 years of age of older.

Q: If I booked my travel through a travel agent, tour operator or other third-party supplier, will Universal Orlando Resort help cancel my trip, including airline, rental car and other third-party related elements?
A: Universal Orlando is only able to assist with cancellations on your Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations hotel accommodations and Universal Orlando theme park tickets (booked directly with Universal Parks and Resorts).
If you have purchased Universal Orlando products and services through third-party suppliers, travel agents or tour operator, including airline, rental car and other third-party related elements, please contact them directly for information regarding their cancellation or change policies and procedures. The policy does not apply to certain special events, dining experiences or group related bookings.
Q: If I booked a Hotel Only Reservation through UniversalOrlando.com, what should I do?
A: Hotel only reservations booked directly with Universal Orlando can be modified or canceled online by visiting UniveralOrlando.com or through a call center agent up to and including the day of arrival.-Availability of same accommodations and room rates cannot be guaranteed for rescheduled vacations dates.
Q: What should I do if I booked my reservation using a group rate?
A: Universal Orlando is able to assist with any portion of the package you booked through Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations, including hotel, theme park tickets, airfare, etc. If booked separately using a group rate, please contact your respective meeting or group planner directly for cancellation policy.
Q: What if I purchased my Universal Parks & Resorts Vacation package via travel financing with Uplift?
A: Universal Orlando is only able to assist with cancellations on your Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations hotel accommodations and Universal Orlando theme park tickets (booked directly with Universal Parks and Resorts). You will not be charged interest as a result of a cancelled vacation due to a hurricane or tropical storm.
