One of the iconic entertainment venues that left its mark on CityWalk was the Blue Man Group. Situated next to the Hard Rock Cafe® Orlando, this show was a multisensory extravaganza like no other. The enigmatic, bald, blue characters took audiences on a journey through a fusion of theater, percussion, music, art, science, and humor. With audience participation and improvisation at the core, each show was a unique experience, making it a must-see attraction. However, as of 2020, the Blue Man Group show has bid farewell to CityWalk, leaving behind cherished memories.

For those seeking a lively nightlife experience, The Groove was the go-to destination. Transformed into Universal's Great Movie Escape, this multi-level dance club offered state-of-the-art sound and special effects, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Guests could immerse themselves in the pulsating beats, enjoy a drink at one of the themed bars, and take in the breathtaking view from the balcony terrace. The Groove was a pioneer in the nightclub scene, with its vibrant energy and eclectic music selection. Sadly, in 2020, it closed its doors, leaving behind echoes of unforgettable nights.

CityWalk was also home to CityJazz, a premier nightclub that showcased live music performances ranging from funk and R&B to soul and rock. This venue provided an opportunity to groove to the rhythm of high-energy tunes while surrounded by the memorabilia and artifacts of jazz legends. Although CityJazz closed its doors in 2008, its spirit of music and celebration remains etched in the memories of those who experienced its magic.
