Top 7 at Seven Seas Food Festival 2023

It's a Festival by the sea! We were invited to SeaWorld Orlando's Seven Seas Food Festival to try some delicious things on the menu. Here are our top seven things to try at the Seven Seas Food Festival.
Picture
Number Seven can be a tricky if you have little ones because it looks like a Capri-Sun. This one is an adult drink, so you must be 21 or older to order. One of the cutest and most delicious drinks we had was the Pipeline. It contains Henricks gin, Tito's vodka, Bacardi rum, and peach. This drink almost tastes like candy, but be aware that this is an alcoholic drink. You will notice a running theme that most food items at the Food Festival contain alcohol.
Our number six selection would be the cupcakes. They come as a normal sweet treat or boozy versions. Here, we tried both the Raz Dazzle Cupcake and Island Dream Cupcake. The Raz Dazzle Cupcake is a vanilla cupcake with raspberry filling and vanilla frosting. The Island Dream Cupcake is an Orange cupcake with Grand Marnier frosting. We enjoyed all the cupcakes, however, we enjoyed the boozy cupcakes the most. These cupcakes are slightly high in price, but we definitely recommend trying them.

Number five is the Cajun Shrimp and Grits. This is made with cheddar stone grits, shrimp, andouille sausage, tomatoes, and peas. The grits were great for a cool afternoon. Xavier isn’t the biggest fan of grits containing tomato based sauce and more into the ones with creamy or Creole based sauces. However, Xavier thought the grits were very good.

Number four is the banana foster beignets. The beignets were hot, fresh, and soft, covered in rum glazed bananas and powdered sugar. It's a must-have. Xavier would have eaten more if we had let him. We do wish the beignets were a little bigger though. Some members of our group didn’t like how sweet the glaze was, Still, we found them enjoyable.
Number three is the lobster and shrimp cakes. These consist of Caribbean Remoulade, salsa verde, rainbow green salad and, of course, the shrimp and lobster. Recently added, this new menu item can be found at Sharks Underwater Grill and Bar, a full-service restaurant at SeaWorld Orlando. If looking to take a break from the theme park festival booths, this location offers some quality theme park dining.

Number two is the Moroccan Grilled Lamb Chops. This Chop is served on a bed of Boursin Mashed Potatoes and Tzatziki. The lamb chop was cooked to perfection. We know what you're thinking. Why would I get a lamb chop from a theme park? To simply put it, because it’s good! The lamb chop wasn’t tough or chewy like most theme park locations we visited. These Lamb Chops were tender and delicious. The mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious and we wish we had more. The tzatziki served with the lamb chop worked well.

Our number one ends up being the fish and chips. This comes with one piece of beer batter cod fish, sidewinder fries, and tartar sauce. This fish was excellent, and we wish we had more. You receive one piece of cod fish and a scoop of sidewinder fries. The fish was delivered hot and fresh. To continue with the theme of this year's event, this comes infused with beer/alcohol.
Seven Seas Food Festival continues for select dates, Feb 3- May 7. Be sure to visit and let us know what your top choice was. Which one will you try? Let us know in the comments.
