Announced today(01/22/23), Plans on opening an all-new family-themed park in Frisco, Texas. Universal aims for the resort to be a family-focused resort created specifically for younger kids. Universal acquired 97 acres of land in the Dallas suburb of Frisco, Texas, for this project. The project is supposed to include rides, shows and a hotel, as well as character meet and greets with Universal and DreamWorks characters like Minions and Shrek. "The property is to have a different look and feel than Universal's existing parks in Orlando and Hollywood.
