As we inch closer to the end of Halloween Horror Nights we want present the best six treats to try before the event is over. These treats have been tested in the UORFoodBlog tasting lab by our best food scientist, readers and followers like you. So here it is our last top list for Halloween Horror Nights 30. In front of the exit to Fast and Furious: Supercharged, you will find a food truck that offers what Xavier has dubbed a Pub Sub. If you've never had a Pub Sub, they are a sub sandwich offered at a grocery chain in Florida called Publix. Universal's version of these sandwiches are available with hand breaded chicken tenders. These sandwiches are offered in three different iterations, Buffalo, BBQ, and Banh-Mi(Thai Chili). These sandwiches are very filling. They are a great option if your looking for some grab and go food as your walking to your next house location. Keep in mind that these can get messy if your bread splits, so get extra napkins. The Pumpkin De Leche Churro is a churro filled with dulce de leche then coated with pumpkin spiced sugar. This is found at the food booth on the Simpsons bypass bridge in Universal Studios Florida. If your not a big pumpkin spice fan, they also offer regular cinnamon sugar churros for your convenience. Keep in mind that the Pumpkin De Leche Churro is a Halloween Horror Nights exclusive treat, so you will not find it during normal day time operation. The Jack and Chance Cake in jars are another stellar treat. They are offered at the Tribute Store next to The Mummy. Similar ones can be found at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen. These are offered in two different varieties, red velvet cake and chocolate. They are very picture-worthy. The jar can home with as a souvenir. When you get them home, be careful not to run them through your dishwasher since these jars are hand wash only. Unless you enjoy these items as much as our team member Keri, you might want to find the Jack to your Chance for sharing because these cakes can be very rich. Twisted Taters are a Halloween Horror Nights staple. Believe it or not, there are crazy people, like Xavier, that come to the event just for the food. Twisted taters are one of those food items people love. A twisted tater is a spiral cut potato that is been placed on a skewer, flash fried, then seasoned with one of four flavors. Twisted Taters have evolved over the past couple of years. They now offer twisted taters that are wrapped around a foot long hotdog and/or covered in chili and queso. If your looking to get yourself a twisted tater you can find this item in front of Animal Actors on Location theater or across from Monsters Cafe.. HHN season has some adorable treats this year. These macaron treats can be found in various places around the resort. Here we have three macarons, all flavored differently to match the theming of their cute character. Mr. Mummy is snickerdoodle, Jack is Pumpkin, and Frank is mint. The most fun place to get these treats is the Tribute Store located next to Revenge of The Mummy. This ain't your moms sandwiches! These sandwiches are offered in four different options. They have a Luke's Grilled Cheese which is a vegan option, the Tempeh Reuben a vegetarian option, the Jalapeño popper, and the Stuffed Brisket. The star is the Stuffed Brisket. This is shaved smoked brisket, pepper jack and cheddar cheese, pickled onions, tomato, and garlic aioli. Make sure to get your own because you won't want to share.
