Did you forget again to make Mother's Day dining reservations this year? No worries, we've got you covered. Some of our favorite dining spots at Universal's CityWalk are offering some excellent dining opportunities for Mother's Day. This Mother's Day, three restaurants will be offering specials for the amazing lady in your life. Your lady can choose to dine at Vivo Italian Kitchen, Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen, or Bigfire American Fare. In addition, you will be able to find a unique dessert available at each of these dining locations. Mama's Carrot Cake is a carrot cake with pineapple jam, topped with mascarpone mousse, covered in an orange mirror glaze on a bed of coconut. The cake will be served with mango, whipped cream, and vanilla ice cream. It's available for purchase for 10 dollars. In terms of entrees, Vivo Italian Kitchen will be serving Sea Bass Picatta and Lemon Basil Burrata Risotto. The pan-seared sea bass is served with roasted baby potatoes, spinach, and lemon picatta sauce. For just 34 dollars, you can delight your mother's palette. However, if sea bass isn't her thing, then how about giving the Lemon Basil Burrata Risotto a try. The Lemon Basil Burrata Risotto is squash blossoms stuffed with carnaroli rice, basil pesto, parmesan, burrata, and ricotta. This menu item will keep all of you out of the kitchen for one day with this entree costing 25 dollars. Is your mom in the mood for a light entree? How about Toothsome's Watermelon Salad. For $15.95, you will receive a de-light-ful salad filled with fresh cut watermelon, cucumbers, oranges, red onion, panko crushed feta cheese, pickled watermelon rinds, micro mint, arugula, and a side of balsamic dressing. If you are like me, ordering the Lobster Risotto. is a no-brainer. Served over a bed of pea tendrils, your lobster tail will be served with carnaroli rice, asparagus, spring peas, then topped with brandy cream sauce. This lobster is a theme park dream meal come true. The lobster will be the second most expensive meal served this Mother's Day, totaling $35.95. If your mom has a more sophisticated palette, then Bigfire is definitely her choice. Bigfire will be serving the Surf & Turf from the Hearth for 42 dollars. The Surf & Turf is elegantly created with a 6oz Creekstone Farms filet mignon, shrimp, and seasonal vegetables. However, the team at Bigfire doesn't stop there. The meal is then served with housemade bordelaise sauce to pull it all together. Universal definitely has some great contenders if you're looking to try something new this Mother's Day season. Be sure to visit the article as we update it with thoughts on the entrees we tried. As usual, we want to hear from you. What are your thoughts on this year's options? Leave a comment and let us know if you would dine at Universal for Mother's Day.
