However, as of January 7, 2019, it bid farewell to its old identity, giving rise to the vibrant TODAY Cafe. Universal Studios' Classic Monsters Cafe was another dining destination that immersed guests in the captivating world of horror movies. Now transformed into Illumination's Minion Cafe, this venue paid homage to Universal's rich horror movie history. From Dracula's castle to the swamp and the flying saucer-themed dining areas, the atmosphere was delightfully spooky. While it provided refreshments to satisfy hunger and quench thirst, it ceased operations on January 8, 2023, concluding its chapter within the park.
