One of the iconic dining spots that underwent a transformation is the Beverly Hills Boulangerie, now known as the TODAY Cafe. This eatery provided a haven for health-conscious celebrities and food enthusiasts alike. Guests could indulge in a range of breakfast croissants, sandwiches, soups, salads, freshly baked pastries, and cheesecake. The Beverly Hills Boulangerie allowed visitors to eat right and savor the flavors of culinary indulgence. However, as of January 7, 2019, it bid farewell to its old identity, giving rise to the vibrant TODAY Cafe.

Universal Studios' Classic Monsters Cafe was another dining destination that immersed guests in the captivating world of horror movies. Now transformed into Illumination's Minion Cafe, this venue paid homage to Universal's rich horror movie history. From Dracula's castle to the swamp and the flying saucer-themed dining areas, the atmosphere was delightfully spooky. Alongside the themed decor, the menu featured favorites like rotisserie chicken, pizza, brisket, salads, and ribs. The Classic Monsters Cafe was a scream for lunch or dinner, offering frightful fun for the whole family. However, on May 13, 2022, it bid farewell to its classic monster motif, making way for the mischievous Minions

As we venture into the realm of retired dining venues, we cannot overlook Bone Chillin', a walk-up location that delighted guests with its snacks and beverages. Now known as Pop-A-Nana, this spot embraces the whimsy of the Minions, featuring banana-flavored popcorn and drinks inspired by these lovable characters. It closed its doors on November 7, 2022, leaving behind the memories of its tasty treats.

Another snack and beverage spot that holds a special place in the hearts of Universal Studios Florida visitors is La Bamba Veranda Park. While it provided refreshments to satisfy hunger and quench thirst, it ceased operations on January 8, 2023, concluding its chapter within the park.
