OK, so you are probably wondering what the CityWalk storage container is? As you're walking into CityWalk and heading towards the waterfront, you would have seen a pop-up building designed in the shape of a storage container. The storage container is not storing just anything, though. You would have found some of CityWalk's best dishes here from restaurants like Pat O'Brien's, Antojitos, and Cowfish. This food booth opened, Sunday, March 6, 2022, during the Marshmello concert at Universal Studios Florida. As visitors were heading towards Universal Studios Florida, some may have seen this booth while others walked past it. Those who saw the booth may have seen chefs around CityWalk collectively setting up the food booth. Finally, around 5 PM Sunday, the food both was open and ready to serve guests some delicious “Crab Rangoon Dip”, for example
Speaking of Crab Rangoon Dip, let's talk about the dishes you can find here. Every time I take someone new to CityWalk, I make it a point to go to The Cowfish to have the “Crab Rangoon Dip.” This appetizer tastes fantastic. The crab dip appetizer comes with wonton chips that have been covered in sweet chili sauce and chives. Then, we get to the best part of it all, the creamy crab rangoon. The dip is topped with parmesan panko crust. You can purchase this for $14.00 plus tax. As always, you can use your respective discounts here. This is a must-get if you're visiting CityWalk or going to the food booth, if it appears again.
Next on our lineup of restaurants is Antojitos. This full-service restaurant has brought three different dishes from their kitchen to this food booth. You can find chips and salsa. A popular appetizer goes by the name of “Esquites,” This corn style dip consists of roasted corn, jalapeño mayonnaise, cotija cheese, ancho spice, cilantro, tortilla chips. It is a great vegetarian and gluten-free dish. You can purchase these “Esquites” for $7.95. Last up from Antojitos are their famous nachos. These nachos come with crispy tortilla chips, queso, black beans, shredded cheese, tomato salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and your choice of chicken or beef. This appetizer is going to set you back $15.95.
Our last three dishes from this booth come from Pat O'Brien's. You'll be able to find some traditional New Orleans fare like the Mardi Gras Gumbo. This version of gumbo offers a description that reads “rich with New Orleans flavors, topped with white rice & shrimp.” This gumbo cost $6.45. You may also buy jambalaya here. The jambalaya description reads “slow-cooked Cajun rice, andouille sausage, shrimp, chicken, (and) Creole sauce for $16.95. The last thing on their list of dishes from Pat O’Briens offers something that I've seen sell out fairly quickly into the night. What I am talking about is the “Bread Pudding.” This dessert is warm bread pudding, maple pecan ice cream, pralines, and Dulce de leche. This bread pudding is heavenly and pairs well with the maple pecan Ice cream. You can get a slice of this heaven for $6.95.
Lastly, you could have bought bottled water and/or bottled soda like Coca-Cola, Coke Zero Sugar, Diet Coke, and Sprite. Let us know down the comments what you think of this quick-service window for some of CityWalk's best dishes. Is there something missing from this list? We want to hear from you.
