On this week's top three, Xavier ventures down the pumpkin rabbit hole and even finds a spooky treat being offered at Starbucks. An additional bonus is this week two of these items can be found outside of Halloween Horror Nights for our friends that will not dare enter the fog. Let's take a look at this top three food items we ate this week at Universal Orlando Resort.
If your desire a standard cheeseburger and fries during Halloween Horror Nights then Mel's Die-In is the place for you. Now, if you are looking to bring more flavor options to your HHH dining, then you have come to the right place. I'm back for another week great reviews and full bellies. After watching the Harry Potter movies for 246th time, you plan to visit Universal Orlando for vacation. You decided you want to dine at The Leaky Cauldron (that is in London, you know) and the Three Broomsticks. You want to enjoy every version of butterbeer. You are saddened to learn there is not a Wizarding World themed hotel, so you need to decide where to stay. You scrutinize prices of the “Premier” level hotels. You decide that your budget cannot handle those price points since you do not have a “philosopher’s stone” to turn lead into gold. You realize that your budget is closer to a Weasley family budget.
Fortunately for you, Universal Orlando has well themed resorts for lower budgets. Universal Orlando has defined these resorts into two categories: Value and Value Plus. As you might imagine, values are the lowest cost resorts at Universal Orlando and value plus are slightly higher priced but with more features. ![]() AP Exclusive, the Candy Bar Frappuccino is officially my go to drink at Starbucks now, but you don't worry if missed your chance to get it at Universal. I have the recipe so you can order it at your local Starbucks! This Frappuccino is a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino with toffee nut and whipped cream, topped with caramel and mocha drizzle. -Xavier.H.
