It's 8 am, and you and your family have been up since the crack of dawn. You guys are hungry, but where do you go? Today, we will present our recommendations for the best breakfast locations while you guys are at the parks. During this article, we will be mentioning certain items that can be used as a Universal Dining Plan credit. Keep in mind that Universal Orlando stopped selling the Universal Dining plan. All current credits officially end this year. So if you have been frantically looking for where you can purchase this plan, I have bad news that you can not buy the dining plan now. We are hoping it will return soon. Of course, our first location will be what I believe to be Universal's best quick-service location at Universal Studios Florida, Today Cafe. Today Cafe is near the front of Universal Studio Florida, about 1000 feet from the front gates on the right side. Today Cafe offers something for everyone. Their menu ranges from Egg White Florentine to Overnight Oats, both on the Universal Dining Plan. One of Raye's favorite items is a vegetarian option, the Park Avenue Avocado Toast. If you're looking for more of a quick grab-and-go option, we would recommend the Croissant Moon Bakery. Over at this bakery, you can grab yourself a muffin or go for my favorite option, one of their croissant sandwiches(served until 11 am). You can also find drinks like coffee, milk, apple juice, and more. If you're looking for some quick options in CityWalk, we have two for you. Our first stop will be Voodoo Doughnuts. Voodoo Doughnuts offers a large selection of tasty and intriguing options like the Memphis Mafia Fritter, a fried dough doughnut with banana chunks and cinnamon covered in glaze, drizzled in chocolate and peanut butter with peanuts and chocolate chips on top. If you do get the Memphis Mafia, let us know what you think. Lastly, if you're ok with having brunch, Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen will have you covered. Xavier's favorite option on Toothsome's Brunch menu is the Patty Melt French Toast($13.95). The Patty Melt contains. Challah bread, half-pound house made patty, sunny-side-up egg, grilled pork belly, cheddar cheese, served with Lyonnaise potatoes. Toothsome also offers quiches and crepes like the Nutella® and Banana crepe, filled with Mascarpone, Nutella®, brûléed bananas, chopped hazelnuts topped with powdered sugar, and chocolate whipped topping. If you can't make it for brunch, no worries, they offer this menu all day. Toothsome Chocolate Emporium opens at 11 am for service. One off-property option to kind of get in the back of your head is to visit the local Wal-mart or Whole Foods, located no more than 12 minutes away from the property. There you can grab cereal, milk, and other options that you and your family will enjoy. Then, you can have them in your Universal hotel before you leave for your “Epic” park day. Well, there you have it, our top breakfast options to help you get your day started at Universal Orlando Resort. If you have any recommendations, let us know what your favorite breakfast options are.
