Lake Region High' School’s (LRHS) culinary academy students have accomplished a remarkable feat by emerging as the winners of the highly competitive Universal Orlando Resort Handheld Competition. The LRHS trio, comprised of Kiera Murphy-Hargadine, Joanyeliz Rodriguez, and Victoria Somoza, stood out among the many student teams that participated in this year's prestigious contest. Their journey to victory consisted of three stages, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities. 
Universal Orlando Resort is thrilled to share new information about the highly anticipated Minion Land, set to open this summer at Universal Studios Florida. In a collaboration between Universal's esteemed creative team and the renowned filmmakers from Illumination, this immersive new area expands upon the beloved Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction, offering guests of all ages a chance to step into the vibrant world of the Minions like never before.
